Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank, give a man a bank and he can rob the world.
elections over - at last.
I don’t know what I find more disturbing from the weekends election results:
- That only 65% of the population voted (apathy?, did they see it as a forgone conclusion?)
- That of those who did vote 6.8% of them voted for NZ First, and someone who I can only describe as a career politician - with all of the negative connotations that conjures, and none of the good public service that you hope for.)
I cannot fathom why people do not read the issues & policies of parties at election time. And it astounds me that people do not use their ability to vote and have their say.
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family.
Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars,
compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good
health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed
interest mortage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your
friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a
three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics.
Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning.
Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing
game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose
rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable
home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up
brats you spawned to replace yourself.Choose your future.
Choose life.
Stick’s been taking photos of me again.
change of url
Not that many (if any) read this blog - but if you do the URL is changing later this afternoon.
In future you’ll be able to find it at blog.whatever.net.nz
I’m still here.
bystander
I’ve got a close friend who dabbles in a variety of things. When he puts his mind to it, he is rather good at the things he tries … and he has recently come back to photography.
Speaking personally I like the style he uses. Call it street photography for want of a better name - it’s about the moment as opposed to staging shots. Check his shit out.
FU Google
So the one thing that the recent changes to Google Apps accounts - where by I can no longer be logged into two seperate Google App domains at the sametime … it has forced me to start using Mail and iCal on the laptop.
So far so good - but I hate being forced into using something like this.
Yeah.
