long weekend
In the past the term ‘long weekend’ was bliss to my ears - ’cause it usually meant that I was heading off for a tournament somewhere or other around the country. This weekend there is an event on in Palmerston North - one of what we laughingly call National Tournaments here in New Zealand.
And I’m not going
It’s not a surprise to me - owning a commercial field now is the main priority, but it still hurts to not be getting into the car to make the drive to where ever we would be heading to. I, basically, miss it
