I don’t know what it is – but the field has been amazingly busy for the last couple of weekends – and the current bookings have the same for this weekend coming.
It’s nice – but would like to have some science around it. Heck at this stage the last month of winter will be as big as one of our summer months. Maybe we’re doing something right for a change
Either way I need a lot more paint – and if it don’t arrive on time tomorrow then I could be stuffed -

Ok. So while my ‘tweets’ are still going to show up on the blog, I’ve moved away from having them autotagged with anything. It was distorting the tag widgit to the right.

Today was a day of coffee & catchup with friends. I even through in a couple of work meetings to make the day full … it has been great.
Saw Stick for a coffee – we talked shop. He joins the ranks of the out of contract/unemployeed (as so many of us have lately) in a few weeks. It’s almost like there’s a recession or something on.

And on the subject of coffee goodness – the venue of choice for those is anywhere in Wellington with “Mojo” in the name. The guys are awesome at all the venues I’ve been to – but big shouts out to the team at Old Bank Arcade & on the waterfront.
On the subject of the waterfront the Mojo team are moving head office to shed 13. Can’t wait for them to finish so we can whip into the store and see the factory.

Tomorrow is a day of coffee meetings in town with friends and old work mates. That and a couple of meetings that relate to the business.

So my business – P8NT Limited – has just joined the Retailers Association here in NZ.
Not a big deal by any stretch of the imagination – but part of the plan for the business moving forward.
What we save on CC merchant fees as a member isn’t to be sniffed at either

Back in August of 2001 I helped start a players paintball organisation – the NZPPA.
I’ve just discovered that the people who took over after I resigned from the committee have allowed it to become deregistered with the Registrar of Incorporated Societies. This happened in 2008 – I’m a little sad.

fresh start

So as I have done so many times before – and will probably do so again – I’ve restarted my blog at http://www.whatever.net.nz.
Not a hard decision, but thought a fresh start would be nice for a change. I’ve also moved away from Lifestream for a while and back to the standard Wordpress install that I’ve always used in the past – albeit with a new theme.
There are some funky new plugins that some friends have been using – which I’ve installed. You’ll might see some of the effects in some of the tweets & posts that show up around the traps.
I’m still here – whatever.
